Emission Compliance “Clean Truck Check” (HD I/M) Services

Ensure Your RV & Truck's CARB Compliance

We are a CARB credentialed “Mobile” Clean Truck Check service for diesel emissions compliance testing service for Heavy-Duty diesel vehicles (Trucks & RVs) “greater than” 14,000 pounds (GVWR). As we are 100% mobile, we bring out Clean Truck Check services to your location. Save time and hassle with our convenient mobile service instead of driving to a testing location. Our service area is all of Southern California and are ready to Smoke Check your fleet of 1 or more trucks or RV. What is CARB’s Clean Truck Check?

Background

January 1, 2023 your trucks and RVs must have a 2010 or newer engine to be compliant to haul freight or RV in the state of California and their emissions must be tested and pass a Clean Truck Check (Smog Test/Smoke Check) per HD I/M regulations. Failure to test or failing an emissions test can force your truck or RV off the road for non-compliance.

CARB has implemented Roadside Emissions Monitoring Devices (REMD). This could result in you receiving a Notice to Submit to Testing (NST) letter leading to enforcement violations, citations and fines. To get CARB compliant and remain CARB compliant, take the first step and order your Clean Truck Check (HD I/M) emissions compliance test, a “Smoke Check.”

Southern California Mobile Diesel Smoke Check is comprised of CARB trained compliance testers and inspectors who have met regulatory requirements to be credentialed for the Clean Truck Check program, formerly known as “Heavy-Duty Inspection and Maintenance.”

Our staff are highly proficient in opacity measurements of diesel vehicles greater than 14,000 pounds using SAE’s stabilized J1667-201802 standard for instrumentation and describes the algorithm we use for the measurement and quantification of exhaust smoke produced during the test.

Our opacity test equipment is the same the government uses and conforms to SAE J1667 specifications under declaration of compliance with the CARB mobile source enforcement branch. By using the latest compliant test instruments utilizing the light extinction principle where a beam of light is attenuated by smoke through scattering and absorption, the analyzed data is measured to produce an accurate Clear Truck Check report for you and the state of California.

It’s a pretty picture — green grass, shade trees, and a beautiful sunny blue sky with some wispy clouds. Best of all, the air is sparkling clean and fresh like after a rain shower. Absolutely perfect for a picnic to take in and enjoy California at its best!

California’s Air Resources Board “CARB” oversees all air pollution control efforts in California to attain and maintain health-based air quality standards. To that end, diesel trucks are required to comply with emission standards in order to haul freight. You need to have a Clean Truck Check twice a year to be in compliance.

Southern California Mobile Diesel Smoke Check

Once upon a time, in bustling Southern California, a group of passionate diesel test technicians and environmental enthusiasts came together with a common goal—to tackle the problem of diesel truck emissions. Their dedication led them to create a revolutionary diesel truck emission testing service known as “MobileSmokeCheck.com”

To represent their commitment to sustainability and innovation, the team decided to design a logo that would capture the essence of their mission. After countless brainstorming sessions and design iterations, they finally crafted a logo that perfectly embodied their vision.

The logo features two elegant and vibrant swirls, each with a distinct color. The first swirl, painted in a striking shade of orange, gracefully curves upwards, representing the vertical nature of their work—analyzing and measuring emissions to ensure cleaner air for all. It symbolizes their dedication to uplifting the environment and promoting responsible practices within the trucking industry.

The second swirl, adorned in a soothing shade of blue, elegantly sweeps across the logo, symbolizing the horizontal aspect of their service—reaching out to diesel truck owners and operators across the vast landscape. It represents their commitment to providing a comprehensive and accessible emission testing solution to every corner of the country.

Together, the intertwined swirls form a harmonious union, symbolizing the collaboration between industry and environmental consciousness. The orange and blue swirls blend seamlessly, highlighting the unity of purpose—the shared effort to reduce harmful emissions and pave the way for a cleaner and greener future.

When the logo was first unveiled to the world, it captured the attention of trucking companies, environmentalists, and policymakers alike. Its vibrant colors and elegant design made it instantly recognizable, drawing people’s attention and inspiring curiosity about MobileSmokeCheck’s services.

As the MobileSmokeCheck logo spread far and wide, it became a beacon of hope for those seeking a sustainable future. Truck owners, who were initially skeptical of emission testing, started to recognize the importance of the service and the positive impact it could have on their businesses and the environment.

The logo has become synonymous with reliability, accuracy, and trust. Truckers proudly display the MobileSmokeCheck logo on their vehicles, signaling their commitment to responsible emissions management and encouraging others to follow suit.

The success of the MobileSmokeCheck logo not only helps the business flourish, but it also inspires other industries to take similar steps towards reducing their environmental footprint. It serves as a reminder that through innovation and collaboration, even the most daunting challenges can be overcome.

In the end, the story of the MobileSmokeCheck logo has become a testament to the power of design and symbolism in promoting positive change. It reminds people that a simple swirl of colors can represent a world of possibilities—a world where diesel truck emissions are responsibly managed and a cleaner future is within reach.
